Baltimore, MD. - August 5, 2004 -
ITI announced today it acquired College Marketing Solutions,
a Massachusetts-based marketing and custom software solutions
provider targeting the educational industry. Financial
terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"CMS's mission, goals, and technologies complement ITI's
ongoing mission to provide state-of-the-art design and
web-based solutions without compromising quality," said
Craig Spurrier, President and CEO of ITI. "CMS has carved
a real niche in the academic sector, emerging as a leader
in higher education marketing, and we're excited to have
the CMS team joining ITI."
CMS was founded in September 2001. Although now a subsidiary
of ITI, CMS will continue to operate as a separate entity.
"The benefit of the acquisition is that CMS will now be
able to provide an even greater array of services to our
existing customers," said Patricia Dion, Managing Director
of CMS. "We'll continue to provide outstanding design
and marketing services to college and universities, but
now we'll be able to provide the infrastructure, architecture,
and implementation as well."
